I needed a set of salt and pepper shakers, so I designed and printed my own. The result is a textured cylindrical shaker with a fast double-thread lid and a color-coded ring around the body so you always know which is which.

The ring is the whole system. Black ring means pepper. White means salt. The ring slides over the body and friction-fits in place so it stays put during normal use but comes off easily when you want to swap colors. If you use Himalayan pink salt, print the ring in Sakura Pink. Irish sea salt? Try Ash Gray. The shaker does not care what you put in it. The ring tells the story.

The lid uses a double-thread design that seats in about half to three-quarter turn. Fast on, fast off. The bodies and lids print without supports on a Bambu Textured PEI Plate.

I also designed a matching toothpick dispenser that goes with the set. Same textured body, same quick-screw lid. Download it free on MakerWorld here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3236173-toothpick-dispenser-with-quick-screw-lid#profileId-3666062
